Comparison · benchmark design

ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini for QA testing.

The useful question is not “which chatbot is smartest?” It is which one produces the most usable output for your testing task with the least hidden risk.

No winner published yet.We are showing the comparison framework before publishing scores. That keeps the benchmark honest: the rules cannot be changed after seeing which model performs best.

Same task. Same evidence. Same scoring.

01One requirement

All models receive equivalent source material and constraints.

02Equivalent prompt

No model gets special optimization in the head-to-head run.

03Human rubric

Correctness, coverage, risk, hallucinations and cleanup.

04Raw misses shown

The useful part is what each model overlooked, not just a final number.

What “good” actually means

CorrectnessNo invented requirements or fake APIs.
CoverageImportant risks, not just more test cases.
PrioritizationHigh-impact failures are separated from low-value noise.
Automation qualityReliable waits, clear assertions and maintainable structure.
Hallucination controlUncertainty is labeled rather than silently filled in.
Cleanup requiredHow much human correction is needed before use.

Try the same experiment yourself

Take one representative story from your product. Before asking any model for test cases, write down 5–10 risks you expect a strong tester to notice. Then use the same requirement with each model and compare misses, not output length.

You are reviewing the requirement below as a senior QA engineer. First identify: 1. ambiguous or missing rules, 2. high-risk edge cases, 3. boundary conditions, 4. state/time/concurrency risks, 5. assumptions you would NOT make without clarification. Then generate a prioritized test set. Do not invent business rules. Label assumptions explicitly. REQUIREMENT: [PASTE REQUIREMENT]
